POACHING - IT'S AN OFFENCE!
The CVI By-Laws state that no Club, or person associated with a Club, should offer an inducement, either directly or indirectly to join another Club. If a poaching offence is proven, there are severe penalties for Clubs, Members and Coaches. An inducement can be seen to be an offer to provide transport, sew costumes for the person, or for a Coach to say that they will only Coach their Solo if they join their Club.
The exchange of pupils from class to class is unavoidable, but the practice of inviting pupils to leave one class and join another, is unethical.

If you feel that a poaching offence has occurred, please forward your complaint, in writing, to the CVI office.
