Victorian State Team
The Victorian State Team has a proud tradition as a force to be reckoned with at the ACF National Championships. It brings together the skill and technique of some of the best Calisthenic performers in Victoria. Being selected as a State Team Member is certainly a great honour and achievement.
Auditions for the first Victorian State Team were held in 1988. The selected team competed in the second National Championships held in July 1989 at the National Theatre in St Kilda, Victoria. Victoria has had a strong presence at every National Championships ever since.
State Team is managed by its own voluntary Sub-Committee, who work tirelessly to prepare the team for the National Competitions. The committee, comprising up to ten members is currently led by its manager, Joy Smith.
State team member applications are opened in August each year, and are advertised in the Club Link as well as this page.
