Calisthenics is one of the fastest growing artistic sports
- unique to Australia. Children of all ages thrive on the variety and challenges offered in the many facets of Calisthenics
- a combination of controlled exercises and gymnastics, marching, singing, simplified ballet, folk and modern dance. It combines the best aspects of sport and art.

Calisthenics Victoria Inc. was formed in 1986 and
is the peak body servicing calisthenics in Victoria. It brings together all the affiliated groups, with the aim of generating
growth for the sport and fostering its 7,600 participants and 110 Clubs throughout the State. Calisthenics has established and maintained strong linkages with
other sporting organisations, the Victorian Government and its agencies.

Calisthenic Federation The Australian Calisthenic Federation was founded in 1986. It is the national body of Calisthenics
in Australia.
