Australian Sports Foundation

The Australian Sports Foundation is Australia’s national non-profit sports fundraising organisation, and the only organisation in Australia to which donations for sport are tax-deductible.

The ASF focuses on supporting a thriving Australian sporting sector, where everyone has access to the health and social benefits of sport, regardless of their gender, background, location, ability or culture.

The ASF has been helping athletes, clubs and organisations fundraise for 37 years. Distributing nearly $700M through its online fundraising platform and community sport grant rounds in that time.

The ASF has now partnered with revSPORT and introduced a membership donation add-on that seamlessly embeds tax-deductible donation options directly into revSPORT's member registration portal.

This feature is designed to provide immediate value, as clubs can quickly start raising funds without complex setup or additional tools. Unlike other registration management and fundraising solutions that require separate platforms or processes, our approach keeps everything within one familiar system, reducing administrative burden and improving efficiency for club volunteers.

Passive Fundraisers

Below are a few fundraising ideas that require little set up and no outlay cost to the club:

  • IGA - The Ritchies Community Benefit Program commenced back in 1993. Ritchies have paid over $55 million to over 5,000 clubs, schools and charities from 1993 to the present day. For an organisation to qualify for a payment, you only require 10 people who nominate the organisation to spend $50 a week to reach the minimum of $2000 for the month. (excluding tobacco, gift cards, and phone recharges). The minimum payment is $10, and there is no maximum, so the more people who nominate your organisation the better.
  • United - By signing your club up to our UP Community program, you’ll receive 2 cents per litre for your club + 2 cents per litre discount for your members, every time they fill up at a participating United service station. Your club could receive a minimum $100 rebate provided a threshold of 5,000 litres per calendar year is achieved.
  • Pancake Palour - Join your club via the Pancake Parlour app and points will automatically be allocated to your club OR mention your club name in-restaurant when paying. Members support your club and start earning rewards with every visit to The Pancake Parlour. Every dollar ($1 AUD) spent earns your club one (1) point during the promotion period. Clubs compete for the grand prize of $5,000 cash for the overall winner, plus the chance to win $2,000 in Pancake Parlour vouchers in their local restaurant league.
  • Container Deposit Scheme - CDS Vic gives charities and community groups the opportunity to raise funds while making an impact. Once you are fully set up, you can engage your supporters to donate their refunds or containers – and help you to reach your fundraising goals. Organisations interested in fundraising will first need to register with CDS Vic to obtain a Donation Partner ID. This verifies your organisation as a registered entity in Victoria. To receive payments, organisations will also need to activate their Donation Partner ID with each relevant zone operator.
  • Dominos - Host a Doughraiser through Dominoes to raise funds for your club. Domino's Pizza invests the time and resources into assisting young Australians nationally and believes in supporting the local community and organisations that our customers care.
  • Grill'd Local Matters - Local Matters is our way of giving back to the communities Grill'd is part of, right around Australia.  Every month, each restaurant will award $500 between three groups doing amazing work in the community —and that’s where YOUR vote counts. Apply for a local matters jar and let us fund the good deeds you’re doing in the community.
