Reconciliation Action Plan

Reconciliation Action Plan

Calisthenics Victoria is proudly committed to progressing the reconciliation movement within our organisation. In 2026, we are excited to launch our first Reconciliation Action Plan REFLECT, which has been formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.

Reconciliation Australia’s RAP Framework provides organisations with a structured approach to advance reconciliation. The framework of relationships, respect and opportunities enables organisations to turn their good intentions into action and to support the national reconciliation movement.

A Reflect RAP helps prepare Calisthenics Victoria to engage in reconciliation meaningfully. Committing to a Reflect RAP starts with engaging staff and leaders in understanding the importance of reconciliation. It will guide us in developing relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders across the next 12 to 18 months.

National Reconciliation Week 'All In' Colouring Artwork

National Reconciliation Week, held annually from 27 May to 3 June, is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, while considering how each of us can contribute to reconciliation in meaningful ways. The week is framed by two significant dates in Australia’s history — the 1967 Referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.

We encourage clubs to consider ways they may recognise the week within their own communities. Created by proud Kaanju, Kuku Ya’u and Girramay artist, Emma Hollingsworth, this 'All In' artwork allows our community to get talking about reconciliation in Calisthenics.
